#gratitude: Co-winners of the Delverde ‘Dish Your Blog’ Pasta Challenge!!

The email began….’Congratulations! You’re original recipe has been selected as one of the two winners of the Dish your Blog with Delverde Contest!’  I blinked. And blinked again. OMG – the words still hadn’t changed! I raced to the phone to call Joey! We actually WON (along with our wonderful fellow blogger at Majella Home Cooking) the Delverde Pasta Challenge! Little Our Italian Table! We are so very honored and excited and honored and humbled by this award! Our pasta recipe that was selected can be found here: Mezzi Rigatoni with Saffron Creme, Tuscan Kale and Crispy Pancetta.   Delverde also wrote up a very cool article on both us and our fellow winner

The competition was sponsored by the wonderful folks over at Delverde Pasta and promoted by the incredible La Cucina Italiana Food Blogger team.  We will keep you posted as things unfold as we are invited to present our recipe at the La Cucina Italiana holiday event in NYC in early December which should be simply an amazing evening! (Oh my – what will I wear?!??!)

  3. I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts and new recipes. I just made the Mezzi Rigatoni with Saffron Cream, Tuscan Kale and Crispy Prosciutto. Paired it with a Montenidoli Vinbrusco that I used in the sauce – outstanding! Because the lacinato kale I used seemed a bit tough – I did do a quick sauté before adding. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. Will enjoy the leftovers tomorrow.
