The email began….’Congratulations! You’re original recipe has been selected as one of the two winners of the Dish your Blog with Delverde Contest!’ I blinked. And blinked again. OMG – the words still hadn’t changed! I raced to the phone to call Joey! We actually WON (along with our wonderful fellow blogger at Majella Home Cooking) the Delverde Pasta Challenge! Little Our Italian Table! We are so very honored and excited and honored and humbled by this award! I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts and new recipes. I just made the Mezzi Rigatoni with Saffron Cream, Tuscan Kale and Crispy Prosciutto. Paired it with a Montenidoli Vinbrusco that I used in the sauce – outstanding! Because the lacinato kale I used seemed a bit tough – I did do a quick sauté before adding. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. Will enjoy the leftovers tomorrow.
